Family Violence Intervention

G.R.E.A.T. D.A.Y. is a specialty provider for the GA Department of Corrections, Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP). Our licensed counselors provide domestic violence intervention counseling for deaf or hard of hearing consumers who are court-ordered to family violence treatment due to emotional, verbal or physical abuse. Consumers are assessed and attend sessions conducted on an individual or small group basis at Great Day, generally over a 16-24 week period. Upon successful completion of the program, a formal report is submitted to the courts.
