Clinical Assessments and Evaluations

DSC_0012x

Types of Assessments:

  • Diagnostic Assessments to gather information and determine treatment plan
  • Mental Health Evaluations for Courts, School System
  • Addiction Severity Index evaluation
  • Family Violence Intervention assessments

Great Day’s licensed clinical staff conducts assessments and evaluations, also known as diagnostic interviews. During these initial interviews, biographical, psychological and social information is gathered from the client about their personal history, symptoms, mental status and presenting problems from the client’s point of view. Then, the treatment goals are discussed and developed, becoming part of the individualized treatment plan. This is the working plan for the therapeutic process.

Often, we are asked by other agencies, such as Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS), Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), as well as the school systems, to do assessments and reports to assist with a legal or academic situation. We are available to provide these services as needed.
